The 2020 NBA Draft Rundown: Small Forwards
Top Ten Three-Guard Prospects
- Issac Okoro, Auburn ::: really inconsistent scoring wise but intense both ways
- Devin Vassel, Florida State ::: oh man, this guy will probably not live up to what he was able to do this year against ACC rivals, but he has the potential to be a powerful 2, if not grow into a versatile SF over the next few years; incredible scoring and he's involved in almost every play every game he dresses
- Jaden McDaniels, Washington ::: as they say, a lackluster freshman season with the Hokies, but his five-star recruiting status can't be ignored. That he has fallen outside of the top 10 is a win for a middling NBA franchise
- Aaron Nesmith, Vanderbilt ::: will not stay in the draft past pick 20, too impressive a three-point shooter
- Paul Reed, DePaul ::: if Obi Toppin isn't top 5, it makes sense why he isn't top 10. That said, a steal wherever he goes
- Saddiq Bey, Villanova ::: a "3-and-D" player in the strictest sense of the term, another top 20 pick no doubt.
- Tyler Bey, Colorado ::: more consistent than the other Bey, but has the disadvantage of playing for a lesser Pac-12 team
- Robert Woodard, Mississippi State ::: gave me Dinwiddie vibes
- Deni Avdija, INTL ::: I don't know him but apparently he's a guy you can expect to go between picks 9 and 20?
- Tyshon Alexander, Creighton ::: playing for Creighton won’t get you much exposure but fortunately I’m a Jays fan. solid both ways, just depends how he is played. Considered "an older player" he is of the same model as Bey; good defence, great poise and a very good shooter
Other notable players you can expect to see drafted
- CJ Elleby WSU ::: not at all like Klay Thompson, but he does have a nice shot; coincidentally is probably the same caliber defender as Klay if you plugged him in as a rookie
- Jordan Nwora, LSVL ::: the most inconstant two-way player who had considerable year-long draft stock. I really hope he turns out to be a great NBA player because he will be drafted tonight, but if he never ever develops that wouldn't be surprising either; could have gleaned more from another NCAA year, but then the players could also be ************************* more than nothing.
