The 2020 NBA Draft Rundown: Shooting Guards
Top Ten Shooting Guards
- Anthony Edwards, Georgia ::: honestly thought his play was hit-and-miss and if he gets shutdown in the NBA, you'll see him go cold really fast, don't like him as a top five pick but he has the talent of a top five player
- Elijah Hughes ::: guaranteed bucket, go watch Syracuse highlights right now if you don’t know this guy
- Tyrese Maxey, Kentucky ::: smaller than Edwards but equally talented and inconsistent; people just soured on him because he expectations were so high and weren't met, whereas Edwards led a porous Bulldogs team to about a .500 record... yeah I don't get the logic either
- Ja’Mihus Ramsey, Texas Tech ::: awesome scorer, might be a point guard and if he is then watch out
- Leandro Bolmaro, INTL. ::: would feel better about taking him or Maledon mid-to-late 1st than I would Hayes top ten
- Theo Maledon, INTL.
- Desmond Bane, TCU :: consistent
- Mason Jones, Arkansas ::: I honestly think this guy is comparable to Fred Van Vleet, which is why he might overlooked for sixty picks before signing. He’s just a little smaller than Isaiah Joe but both of these guys could average 20 someday soon; also consider this as a spot for Isaiah Joe.
- RJ Hampton, INTL. ::: who? Yeah watched a couple games but not entirely impressed
- Karim Mane, Vanier (CAN) ::: can’t say I know his play all too well but his combine and measurements are wicked, and I think he’ll get drafted.
Watch out for...
- Jay Scrubb, John A. Logan College (JUCO) ::: didn't wanna toss out Jones or the Canadian from my list, but the buzz on him is high, so expect him to get picked up before he becomes a UFA. Could play SF.
- Jalen Harris, Nevada
- Immanuel Quickley, Kentucky ::: another player who will get drafted if a team wants an offensively explosive experiment at two-guard
- Skylar Mays, LSU ::: plays 1-2, like Ball.
- Josh Green, Arizona ::: I think he oughta play another year NCAA. Didn’t think he looked as good as either of his iffy teammates forgoing another year of college. Since he's in though late second-round, just not a player I liked at all
